Our Board of Trustees
The Board of Trustees of Tāmaki Healthcare is made up of appointed persons representing different primary healthcare stakeholder groups. The Board is responsible for governing the organisation including the setting of policy, defining strategy and employing the Chief Executive Officer. Current Trustees are:
- Henare Mason - Chairperson - appointed by Department of Māori Health, University of Auckland
- Dee Parks - Deputy Chairperson - appointed by Roskill Union & Community Health Services
- Tracy Walters - Treasurer - appointed by Ngāti Whātua O Orakei Health Services
- Aroha Hudson - appointed by Te Rūnanga O Ngāti Whātua
- Dr Richard Powell - appointed by the Clinical Reference Group
- Rosie Brown - appointed by the Electoral College Pacific Peoples Representatives
- Puawai Rameka - appointed by Orakei Māori Trust Board
- Rahera Shortland - appointed by Te Taumata
- Matewiki Karehana - appointed by the Provider Reference Group
Our Staff
Tāmaki Healthcare employs staff with a range of skill sets and experiences in health settings including management, information technology, data analysis, research, quality management, as well as clinical and health promotion staff.
